Principal

Mrs. DeMakas earned her Bachelor of Arts in history and kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she was a member of the basketball team, and Master of Arts in educational leadership from the University of Notre Dame. Although she has been at Saint Paul for four years she has spent the past 22 years in education, from teaching and coaching to administrative leadership. Her son, Chase, currently attends SPCCS. Ms. DeMakas loves to travel with her family and has visited 27 baseball parks. She is a huge Notre Dame fan but loves all NCAA basketball; she also loves hiking and other outdoor activities.

Her personal words to live by are:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (trust that God has a plan for you and have the faith to follow it); and "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called" (have faith that God has called you to his will and given you the tools to do it).
