Called "Mrs. A." by her students, Ms. Ardoin has been teaching for 32 years, including 21 at Saint Paul school. She earned her bachelor and masters degrees from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. Like many of our teachers, Mrs. A is a product of a complete Catholic education, starting in kindergarten. Her children, Sarah, Allie and Jonathan, all attended Saint Paul from kindergarten through eighth grade. Her daughters continued on to Ursuline Academy and Texas A&M, and her son recently graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School and will attend Texas A&M this fall. Mrs. A loves that many of the teachers who taught her children are still teaching at Saint Paul. She also loves when her former students tell her that they applied the lessons they learned in her classes in high school, college, and life. In the 2021-2022 school year, Mrs. A will teach sixth to eighth grade English, seventh grade religion, sixth grade religion, and seventh grade literature. Mrs. A plans to one day write a book called "Teach It, Preach It, Reach It." Her personal mantra is, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
