Religious education is provided daily at Saint Paul Catholic Classical School and includes:
The Saint Paul Catholic Classical School Confirmation program is a joint program with the Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Students receive faith formation through the school and as part of the parish completes the Confirmation preparation. Service requirements are fulfilled through participation in service projects both at the school and through the parish. A true spirit of service is not just about accumulating or completing a certain number of projects, but instead is about the desire to help others. Youths should never be compensated for service or do it expecting to receive an award or recognition. The hope is that through participation in service projects, youths will grow to incorporate service to others as an important part of their Catholic faith. Please visit the Parish Youth Ministry page for more information.
A service project is a project that meets a demonstrated need in our community and benefits the Saint Paul parish community. It involves a time commitment and significant investment of oneself to benefit others. The project educates youths while stressing and incorporating the Catholic Social Teachings and the Works of Mercy.
Service projects must be completed and project reports turned in to the SPY (Saint Paul Youth) office before Confirmation. If there are extenuating circumstances that merit an extension, contact the Saint Paul Catholic Classical School middle school religion teacher for approval.
After completing a service project, please fill out the Service Project Report form and turn it into the SPCCS religion teacher or to the Youth Office at 900 James Drive.
