We are currently learning to write an equation from a word problem. Students are writing a word problem to match a given equation to reinforce clue words. Then students will write an equation and solve it for word problems.

Wednesdays and Fridays 7:15 - 7:45 am

Did you know that the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English textbooks contain a diagramming section in the latter part of the book? Students are encouraged to use the diagram section for reference when completing homework or diagramming assignments.

Students will have review work nightly.

Specials rotation schedule can be found in students' planners. Day six is study hall.

Sets A,B,and C will be tested on August 24 th. Prefixes will be added to spelling list after Labor Day.

Vocabulary pages are due every Thursday; teacher will review the vocab words with students on Mondays. I will be posting the vocab pages a week beforehand; students are encouraged to begin vocab exercises on weekends when possible.

Students write a sentence and diagram daily as their warm up. DLP folders are graded in the latter part of the quarter.
